October recipe – an easy sweet dip.
1 8-oz. pkge. cream cheese, softened
8 oz. powdered sugar
8 oz. canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix)
1 teas. cinnamon
½ teas. ground nutmeg
Put cream cheese in a mixing bowl. Beat with hand mixer at medium speed, until fluffy. Gradually add sugar. Beat well. Stir in pumpkin and spices. Serve immediately or cover and chill. Serve with apple slices or gingersnap cookies.
