With tricks and treats, bats and bones, pumpkins and skulls, this will be an event the whole family can enjoy together. The Healdsburg Museum is also featuring a "Dia de los Muertos - Day of the Dead" exhibit, November 1st through 9th. Admission is free.

October recipe – an easy sweet dip.
Pumpkin Dip
1 8-oz. pkge. cream cheese, softened
8 oz. powdered sugar
8 oz. canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix)
1 teas. cinnamon
½ teas. ground nutmeg
Put cream cheese in a mixing bowl. Beat with hand mixer at medium speed, until fluffy. Gradually add sugar. Beat well. Stir in pumpkin and spices. Serve immediately or cover and chill. Serve with apple slices or gingersnap cookies.
