Where is Camellia Inn’s DaVintners Code? Take a close look at this distinctive, old-world icon. It’s the key to having barrels of fun (and winning awesome prizes) along Sonoma County’s Wine Road—home to the finest vintages from the Russian River, Dry Creek, and Alexander Valleys. Grab some friends to sip, swirl, and sleuth your way through this gorgeous section of wine country in search of the daVintners Code, an icon that’s hidden at various wineries and lodging locations (don't worry, it’s never too hidden). Your mission: find the icon; take a picture of it; and share it using #WRdaVintners. Once you find and post icons from multiple places (and you know you will!), you’ll get great prizes—including gourmet cookbooks, winery swag, tickets to events, beautiful picture books, and so on! Who doesn’t love a treasure hunt where you also get to drink award-winning wine?! Get a map of participating wineries and lodgings and hit the Wine Road to crack the daVintner’s Code and be rewarded with cool stuff. (We’ll drink to that!)

You can fly high this autumn, with HeliCo Sonoma, the new helicopter company operating out of the Charles M. Shultz airport in Santa Rosa. If you are looking for something exciting to do, this is a way to see beautiful aerial views of Sonoma and Napa counties!

It’s not too early to be thinking about the holidays – and the 23rd Annual Winter Wineland, January 17th and 18th, 2015. Over 140 wineries will be offering limited production wines, new releases, library wines and opportunities to meet the winemakers. See more at:

January is also the Pigs and Pinot event, a celebrated epicurean weekend of Pinot Noir and pork. Ask us about Hands on Healdsburg, coming in January and February and Mushroom Week, starting the last weekend of January.

September, 2014 is California Wine Month. In celebration, specials abound in Sonoma County. Look for a variety of specials: 29 wineries are offering a comp tasting with an Alaska Airlines Boarding Pass, 43 wineries have other special offers for the month – and more. See offers for this month.
